Bu çalışma, TSSB yaşayan bireylerde BDT terapisinin uygulanışını araştırmayı hedeflemektedir. Araştırma, düzenli bir derleme yöntemi kullanarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yerinde bir saha çalışması yapılmamış ve herhangi bir ölçüm aracı kullanılmamıştır. İncelenen araştırmalar, 2015 ile 2021 yılları arasında Türkçe ve İngilizce dillerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmalar, rasgele kontrol edilen denemelerden meydana gelmektedir. Sistematik inceleme, Mart 2025 ve Mayıs 2025 tarihlerinde iki aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Literatür taraması sonucunda, toplamda sekiz çalışma ele alınmıştır. Bu sekiz çalışmanın sonuçları, Bilişsel Davranışçı Terapinin olumsuz duygu ve düşünce kalıplarını değiştirerek yeniden işlevsellik kazandırdığını göstermiştir. BDT terapisi uygulandıktan sonra, Travma Sonrası Stres Bozukluğu olan kişilerde belirtilerin önemli ölçüde azaldığı ve bazı durumlarda tamamen kaybolduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu nedenle, BDT terapisi TSSB tedavisinde sıkça başvurulan bir metottur.
