IN THE LIGHT OF THE TURKISH PRESS, THE PROCESS OF ASCENSION AND DECLARATIONS PUBLISHED BY THE LAST RULER OF THE AUSTRIAN-HUNGARIAN EMPIRE I. FRANSUVA SARL (KARL)

Abstract

Fransuva Jozef became the ruler of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the age of eighteen, under the shadow of the 1848 Revolutions. The uprisings were suppressed with Fransuva Jozef's throne, and Hungary was once again linked to the Austrian Empire. In his period, the First World War, the world's first global war, began. When the dates showed November 21, 1916, the emperor, who was eighty-six years old, died and the young I. Fransuva Sarl, who was twentynine years old, emerged. In this study, in the light of the Turkish press, the process of ascension of the last ruler of the Austro-Hungarian Empire I. Fransuva Sarl and the statements he published in this process were discussed. It is seen that the Turkish press gives wide coverage to the boarding process of Fransuva Sarl and the declarations he published. It is understood from the Turkish press that Sarl came to the throne on the evening of the day of the death of Jozef and this situation was immediately shared with the people of Austria-Hungary and allied states, and the Austrian-Hungarian public and the allied states were pleased with this situation. However, it has been determined from the Turkish press that the new emperor, I. Fransuva Sarl wrote declarations addressing the nations under the umbrella of two, and one to the army and navy. In these statements, it is seen that Sarl used very sincere expressions to his nations, army and navy and expressed his belief that the ongoing World War I would result in victory.
