Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the reasons of using e-commerce applications of living people in Kırşehir. The research was conducted in 2018. A simple random sampling method was used in the sample selection and a interviews were conducted with 353 people who accepted to participate in the study. The participants were required to use e-commerce at least once in their selection. In the study, an inventory developed by the authors was used to determine the reasons for using e-commerce. There are 25 questions in the inventory. Answers to inventory questions; 1-Strongly disagree / 5-Strongly agree with the 5-Likert type is rated as. The Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the inventory was calculated as 0.909. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics22.0 program. Descriptive statistics, inter-group t-test and one-way analysis of variance were performed on the data. At the end of the study, the reasons for using the participants-trade are; It was determined that there were no problems in shopping, 24/7 shopping, and other consumer comments about the products were effective. It is observed that consumers have concerns about information security, access to the product in a short time and failure to return the product.
