TURKEY THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INVESTMENT INCENTIVE SYSTEM: CASE OF DİYARBAKIR PROVINCE

Abstract

In this work, The outline of the current incentive system implemented in Turkey, support applications and support elements are emphasized. Later, in order to measure the success of the incentives' goal of eliminating interregional development awareness, the case of Diyarbakır province was dealt with. To measure the effectiveness of the supportive elements provided in the investment incentives on the investors in the province of Diyarbakır in the 6th region and to determine the effect on the investment decision, In Diyarbakır, interviews with beneficiaries benefiting from incentives, investors who have never been applied and investors who are related to investment incentives have been evaluated. Finally, the results of the findings obtained from these interviews were made and suggestions were made.
