A woman is an asset whose place and importance in society should be investigated and her poor conditions in society should be improved. The place and position of women and women in the family have been shaped by different cultures, civilizations and beliefs for centuries. The roles of femininity, which have undergone changes over the years, are filled with problems that are still waiting for solutions. In particular, a society structure that allows a woman to marry and have children and prevents the right to education is also an obstacle that prevents healthy generations from growing up. Marriage, motherhood and spouse identities should therefore not be preceded by a woman who is an individual. The education of women, the economic freedom, which is the building block of the most important institution that constitutes society, actually means the welfare of society. Since the most important institution of society is the family and the mother who raises the children is a woman because of her position, women's and family problems should be investigated and resolved. This study, prepared with a theoretical framework, deals with how the place and importance of women in society and in the family has been formed and how it has changed throughout history. After that, some solutions were offered to the problems experienced by women in the family and marriage
