THE RELATIONSHIP OF LANGUAGE-PARABLE IN KORAN (The Example of Musa Parable)

Abstract

The life of human advance by a continual struggle. We can see that this struggle presents parallelism both physical side and language side. As we consider that human being is created in an excellent way,the language which the way of communication should be perfect like this also. The most important tool of prophets who is on duty to transfer revelation to people is certainly language. The language used in Koran in effective way has an important role to guide people. When we investigate Koran parables., we can see a wide contents of language. The language of parables that told in prophet struggling has an important value to make invitation permanent. The importance of language is emphasized in Musa parable which repeated mostly in Koran. The pray that summarize Saint Musa struggle ‘’loosen tie of my tongue’’ show imprtance of expression in language. There are lots of parables in Koran. Some of them are long dimension such as Yusuf, İbrahim, Musa, some are middle dimensions. Even the Elephant Surah explain an importan event in five verse of Koran. The message is given even in this short parable’s language that has an effectiveness both in hearts and in minds. We can see that parables convert to novels, story or epic in this point of view.
