Together with being made possible to make alliance between political parties at June 24, 2018 Parliamentary Election, “alliance based % 10 thresholded d’Hondt method” implemented first time in Turkey. The new method brought together some methodological changes related with calculating parliamentarian number of parties. With this study, it is aimed to put forth the implementation form of the “alliance based % 10 thresholded d’Hondt method”, to detect the affect over parliamentary distribution in the Turkish Grand National Assembly by comparing with the former method, to examine the risks and the uncertainties by evaluating the election results in the context of fair representation. As research method, statistical analyzes and comparisons was made from over formal election results, and it was concluded by commenting the obtained data. With this study, it is resulted that, on one hand, the new method acted against the ruling party concerning parliamentary distribution and provided advantages to the opposition parties, it will enforce/oblige the parties to alliances for the future. On the other hand, it is resulted that the new method was “positive/acceptable” in terms of fair representation, and provide contribution to develop cultural compromise between the parties.
